ICT: Third Grading Period

ICT: Third Grading Period

My third grading period in ICT was fine. I learned the functions of the HTML tags. I also learned how to make a webpage using HTML. It was fun exploring every tag I would encounter.

In making our project, there were some problems we encountered since most of our group mates were out because of seminars and contests. And since we were only 3 left in our group, it was hard. Especially that we don’t know how a webpage looked like.

Our project was a group project but since there were so many problems, I decided to make it my own. Though it was hard to make it, I managed to finish it.

Even though I had a hard time during this third grading period, I enjoyed it a lot. J

LOVE: The True Essence of Christmas

LOVE: The True Essence of Christmas

Some people would celebrate Christmas with fireworks. Others would sing using the videoke. Most of the children would go out and would sing a Christmas song at every house. There are those who would eat with their family. And there are those who would remember that Jesus was born.
From the beginning, love is all that matters. Love is the origin of every single dot in this world. Love is the reason why Jesus was born. And love is the reason why Jesus died in the cross. Yes. It’s because of his love for us that he gave his life.
Christmas is only celebrated once a year. And with this, why can’t we show our love for him? That we remember him during his birth. Why is it that we only think of our own happiness?
Even if it is not Christmas, we should show our love for him. That we remember him in everything we do, not just when we needed him. Showing our love for him means thanking him that He gave us our lives.

CLIMATE CHANGE

CLIMATE CHANGE

Food, clothing, and shelter. These are some of the basic needs that we need to survive. But how can we aim these basic needs if there are problems that trap us through the right path?

Our country faces so many problems, especially environmental problems. Last October 15, hundreds of people died and were buried alive due to a magnitude 7.2 earthquake in Bohol. Thousands of people also died and still not found because of the super typhoon Yolanda that hit Visayas. Millions of properties were destroyed and taken by these calamities.
Climate change.    It is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions.
Yes. We may say that it’s because of climate change. But, isn’t it that it is our fault why this climate change is happening? Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred to as "global warming".
Our leaders are seeking solution how to cure theses problems and how to rebuild our country. especially those who were victims of calamities. They say that, “Prevention is better that cure.” But since some us were not thinking about what will happen next in our wrongdoings, we haven’t prevented it. Cure is the only way to solve our problem. But like when we cure our wounds, it will stay as a scar and will never be removed.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health. In our community today, we can see females doing the work of males and vice versa. This proves that, women can do whatever men can do.
We might have heard our grandparents telling stories about how they were treated before, especially our grandmothers. They would say that when they were young like us, they would just stay in their houses and do the household chores. They were not allowed to go out and do some gallivanting. They were just inside their houses like prisoners inside the jail.
Equal rights, equal opportunities. This is what women want in their whole life---- to be treated normal. Normal in such a way that they will feel accepted and not discriminated. They will feel freedom. They can show their talents and be a part of the history.
Having equality can make our country progressive. For both women and men can contribute in this progress.
